Sotogrande is a well-established, mainly British enclave just 10minutes along the coast from Gibraltar. Sotogrande is the only place in Europe where polo is played all year round. At Sotogrande there are currently 7 polo fields, all within 5 minutes of each other, so, if you have never seen a match, this is your chance. Check locally for match information. SPORTS The Cucurucho Club de Playa is the perfect place for you to enjoy all manner of sports, beach sports, tennis, football, water polo, water basketball, volleyball, and much more. For the children especially there is a full programme of supervised events, with juggling, face painting, competitions and treasure hunts and swimming instruction. There are several swimming pools, some especially for children and toddlers and sauna facilities. Also 4 tennis courts and 8 paddle tennis courts with court and equipment hire on an hourly basis. This club is open all year, with bar and restaurant facilities, but also offers a buffet restaurant during July and August and a beach bar. Daily and weekly membership tickets are available.
